Punya Sidhu is a junior at Monte Vista, and this is her first year writing for The Stampede. She is excited to be a member of the staff, and hopes to one day travel the world, and study abroad while in college. She enjoys reading, writing, and binge-watching documentaries on Netflix.

Many students are hurt by college rejection not only because of the fact that their dream schoolsdid not want them, but also because of how they think other people will react, fearing the judgement and social pressure.
