Friday, March 4, 1791: Vermont becomes the 14th state in the union. It becomes the first state outside of the thirteen colonies to be added into the union.

Monday, March 4, 1793: George Washington was inaugurated to his second term as President. He gives the shortest inauguration speech in history at just one hundred thirty three words.

Saturday, March 4, 1865: Abraham Lincoln was inaugurated to his second term as President of the United States.

Saturday, March 4, 1933: Franklin D. Roosevelt was inaugurated as the 32nd President of the United States. Roosevelt would be the longest serving president in U.S. History.

Friday, March 4, 1994: The four men, Salameh, Nidal Ayyad, Mahmud Abouhalima, and Ahmad Ajaj, are convicted of bombing the World Trade Center on February 26, 1993. In May all four men are sentenced to life imprisonment
