Out of over 100,000 people that auditioned for American Idol, our very own senior Rachel Rolleri made to the top 100 contestants during Hollywood week.

She auditioned in San Francisco over the summer and her performance for the judges was aired on national television in January. Danville was featured in a short clip about her home town and supportive family.

Although she won’t be continuing on the American Idol journey, she reflects positively on the experiences she gained.

“I am grateful for the entire experience; all of the friends I have made and the things idol has taught me…it has been beautiful and exciting and amazing,” Rolleri posted on Facebook.

This is not the end of Rolleri’s music career by any means. She plans to continue pursuing future music opportunities and sharing her amazing talent. Congratulations Rachel, you made Monte Vista proud!
