Karena Dietrich is an Junior at Monte Vista. She is in her first year of Journalism, and is a Staff Writer. She is hoping to be able to write some interesting and thoughtful pieces for the class, and to maybe do some illustration work as well. Karena is a hobbyist artist and writer, who makes her own characters and stories. Something she misses from before the pandemic, was being able to go out with friends a lot more. Karena also has a one year old husky puppy named Violet!
