The media calls this 21-year-old popstar the new Brittany Spears, starting with YouTube videos in her room to her first sold-out arena tour. Tate McRae is one of the youngest and most prominent pop stars in the industry today with her record-breaking single “You Broke Me First” reaching 1 billion streams in 2020. “It’s ok I’m ok” released on September 12, 2024, reached #1 in Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs and #14 on the Officials Singles Chart, becoming her highest debuting single.
She started dancing at 11 years old and went on to train at the School of Alberta Ballet. McRea beat Dance Moms’ Maddie Zeigler for Best Junior Female Dancer in 2015. McRea also performed at the Los Angeles FireAid benefit concert on January 30th, alongside 30 award-winning artists such as Stevie Wonder, Sting, Billie Eilish, Katy Perry, and Olivia Rodrigo.
