This year marks Kira’s first year on The Stampede as a Staff Writer. Kira is a senior at Monte Vista and enjoys photography, videography, painting and writing. She hopes to engage readers on topics she is passionate about by producing compelling stories. Kira is a very curious person and enjoys staying informed on current events. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, she spent almost every day watching the news, later becoming her family’s news reporter, recapping daily events and providing unique perspectives.
