Ava Summers is beginning her junior year at Monte Vista. She is starting her first year on The Stampede as a staff writer who is eager to learn what the class has to offer. She is looking forward to writing feature and opinion articles. One thing Ava misses from before the pandemic is being able to go out without fear of becoming sick. She enjoys listening to country music, camping, and watching the sunset with her friends. She also loves spending time with her cat Loki and her dog Maya.
