Amaya Jalal is a freshman at Monte Vista, beginning her first year in Journalism. She enjoys writing about sports features, art, science, and entertainment. She also has a slight affinity for political cartoons. Her goals are to keep her generation informed and improve her writing. Outside of school, she is a fencer, regularly listens to 40’s music, and watches far too many Hindi movies.
