You’re looking at the H.M.S Tuna, owned by Retired Fleet Admiral Clarence Joseph Lyons. He docks it off Monte Vista Bay, two miles north of Danville. It’s powered by a full loaded 426 hemi with Endelbrock High Rise. The carburation is two Holley 3-barrels. It turns the low nines in a quarter mile. Notice the hood scoops by Addf. Its rudder base is 65 inches; its weight around 6,500 pounds. It seats around 23 passengers in a nicely done tuck and roll with 16 Craig speakers hooked up to a Lear Jet 4&8 track sterio track deck. The captain’s wheel is made of highly polished whale bone. This boat is fully equipped for foul weather navigation. There is always a full supply of refreshments for those weekend outings. This vessel in fully equipped for indoor sports.
Admiral Lyons has put much time, money, and effort into the development of this high performance vessel. It can be seen cruising the high seas of Danville with his Executive Officer Captain Galletly.
All people interested in viewing this vessel are welcome.
