Seta Salkhi, Managing Editor

Seta Salkhi is a senior in her third year of the journalism program. As this year’s managing editor, she and Mason Hanshaw are hoping to continue The Stampede’s upward trend of progress. With a new emphasis on investigative journalism, political pieces, and hard-hitting news, Seta is excited to take on important issues facing different individuals in society. In addition to writing, Seta also enjoys playing beach volleyball recreationally, taking naps, and watching Netflix. In the days before COVID-19 dictated our daily lives, Seta didn’t realize how much she enjoyed school. She hopes to be attending her classes in-person before the end of the semester.

Monte Vista seniors are participating in their annual car painting at Hap Magee Park, albeit with a twist. Students have been forced to make adjustments in their everyday lives (i.e. wearing a mask in public, standing six feet apart from friends) so that they can continue to enjoy social activities.
