P.E. shorts or booty shorts?

Most girls hate P.E. uniforms, so we should be glad there are new ones, right?

Wrong.

The new P.E. shorts violate the school dress code, so what makes them okay to wear during P.E.?

I understand it gets hot and that the old ones were usually a bit baggy, but to get new ones that are that short doesn’t make any sense. People should be able to wear what they choose and express themselves, but it’s only one class period.

If a girl were to wear her P.E. shorts outside of P.E. she would get a dress cut, so why is it that she can wear them in P.E.? Was there any specific reason to get new shorts to begin with?

The new shorts are tight and are almost like spanx. Some girls are perfectly fine with them, but some are also uncomfortable.

Are they supposed to be shorts for a P.E. class or are they booty shorts?

Our school isn’t too lenient when it comes to giving dress cuts to girls wearing mini skirts or shorts that are too short, so it makes people wonder who made the decision for the freshman P.E. shorts.

On some of the girls you can actually see their butts hanging out of their shorts. I had heard about the shorts for awhile, but when I saw them I was shocked our school bought these.

Freshmen, Makena Victor and Julia Smoot, getting ready for P.E. class. One of them was wearing the new Monte Vista shorts, but the other was wearing regular shorts that could get her a dress cut. The difference between the length of the shorts isn’t that off.

Our school stresses how we should dress with respect, but are contradicting that idea with these shorts. They need to decide whether or not they will allow short shorts. If the answer is no, they need to do something about the new P.E. shorts.
